Minilist 14 - May 27, 2013

Ancient, modern and medieval, plus 4 Operation Bernhard counterfeit notes

Welcome to our last mini-list of May 2013 and our largest to date. We start off with a handful of ancient coins and continue on to a nice run of modern and medieval coins, tokens and medals in various price ranges. I believe images are available for all items.

The list finishes with 4 Operation Bernhard counterfeit notes. These notes, made by inmates at the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp, were part of a failed attempt by Nazi Germany to bankrupt the Bank of England during World War II. The story is fascinating and has been a subject of both books and movies.

Hope you find items of interest. If you have any question please call during normal business hours or email us at any time. By the way to avoid any confusion, this is a Fixed Price List, not an auction.
