WEB LIST 40A JANUARY 2010

Download PDF version of this list.

Welcome to our first list of 2010 and our fourth Web Only list. As usual there are no images but we can supply images of most coins priced at $25 or more. Just ask and we’ll send them to you as soon as we can. Ordering information can be found at the end of the list. We had hoped to put these lists out every two weeks but so far we’re barely able to get one a month out. Eventually we hope to get them out every two or three weeks but as the new year begins we are now, “Semi-Semi-Semi Retired”. What this means is that I take an hour or so off 3 days a week and go to the gym. It also is suppose to mean quitting work earlier in the day, starting later in the day and going to see our grandchildren every month or so. So far we are doing the gym part of our program.

All our lists are organized as follows: Ancient Jewish, Ancient Greek, Ancient Roman, Other Ancients (which include Greek Imperial, Islamic, Byzantine, Axumite etc.) followed by World Coins, Tokens and Medals which are listed in alphabetical order. When we have World Paper or Odd and Curious Money we will make mention of those in our introductory paragraphs. Please order by 5 digit inventory number when that is listed, otherwise use the description.

This list contains about an equal number of “new” coins and old friends at reduced prices. Included is just a few coins of a 100+ Armenian coin collection all identified by both Nercessian (AC) and Bedoukian numbers. We have just returned from attending the New York International show and we bought many hundreds of coins only some of which made it onto this list. We’ll list more in future lists. Please note that we will be away from our office February 3rd through February 8th. Our contact information can be found by clicking on the contact us button on our web page and is also listed below:
